A new requirement for the submission of certified reference materials (CRMs) as part of the ISO 17034 Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for Pest Control Product Registration procedure is being implemented by the Pest Control Product Board (PCPB).
With immediate effect, manufacturers certified by ISO/IEC 17034 must be the source of all submitted CRMs. In order to provide accurate and consistent testing findings, this worldwide standard ensures the highest quality and reliability of reference materials.
To ensure compliance, all submitted CRMs must clearly label with the following information:
- CAS Number
- Expiry Date
- Lot Number
- Material Name (Active Ingredient)
- % Purity
- Storage Conditions
In addition, each CRM must be accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis outlining its requirements, uncertainty, intended application, and matching analytical procedure.
This new condition is applicable to both initial registrations and future applications for label extensions and parallel registrations.
By adhering to ISO 17034 Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for Pest Control Product Registration standard, the authority hopes to maintain the highest degree of quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
