BIOCIDES REGULATION SERVICES

In India, currently the biocide regulation is not yet defined. However, the import/manufacturing of biocides for different uses (including paints, coatings, textile etc.) are regulated by CIBRC (Central Insecticide Board and Registration Committee) depending on the active substance status in the Insecticide Schedule of India. There are various biocides product imported freely in India which are not included in the Insecticide Schedule for several uses.

Auxilife offers technical and regulatory services to register Biocide and Biocide products (Manufacturing use products) which are regulated under the Insecticide Act, 1968 and the Insecticide Rule, 1971 of the regulatory body CIBRC. In India currently a complete guideline is not in place, hence the implications and applicability to import and register the biocidal claim product needs to be investigated on case-by-case approach with some other strategical ways.
