· CROs must submit applications with a checklist of materials available on the SUGAM portal.

· The portal offers simple registration options for both new and current users.

· To generate a deposit slip for Bharat Kosh, users should select “CRO Registration” or “CRO Renewal” as the payment reason on the payment page. This ensures that fees are accurately processed.

A public notice issued emphasising the importance of this online registration method in improving openness and efficiency in clinical research regulation. He asked all CROs to familiarise themselves with the portal and complete their registration well before the April 1, 2025 deadline.
